I was forged in the fiery furnaces of the North of England, schooled in the storied halls of Leeds and Newcastle. My youth was spent in a blaze of glory - playing rugby with reckless abandon, tearing up the roads on my dirt bike, skiing down the wildest mountains and conquering the icy depths of Lake Windermere on water skis.
In my early 20s, I partnered with my brother and cousin to build a graphic design empire that shook the very foundations of London's Carnaby Street - a feat few lads from the North could ever hope to achieve. But I did not stop there. I founded Ralph with a friend, a digital creative shop that produced work for musical legends, Disney, Nickelodeon and even the infamous TV show, Dexter. Our star shone bright, and we expanded to the glittering cities of New York and LA, taking my family and beloved dog Mac along for the ride. I worked on blockbuster movies and TV shows, winning a BAFTA and earning an Emmy nomination.
But this success was hollow, a mere echo of the passion that drove us in our early days. I yearned to get back to my roots, to feel the earth beneath my feet and the wind in my hair. So I abandoned the glitz and glamour, going rogue as a freelance filmmaker. Armed with nothing but a camera and my own untamed spirit, I roamed the world, capturing the raw, human stories that pulsed at the heart of existence. I shot over 100 short documentaries that sparked global conversations, directed and filmed two feature-length masterpieces, and even licensed one to Redbull. I am a virtuoso of the camera, a warrior of the art of filmmaking, always on the lookout for the next epic project to conquer.
Direct. Shoot. Edit. I love it all.
